Czech interactive TV services and media platform provider nangu.TV has refreshed its senior management with the appointment of Zdeněk Gerlický as CEO and chairman of the board of directors.
Nangu.TV provides an all-in-one IPTV/over-the-top (OTT) solution with full multiscreen functionalities and extendable multi-tenant capabilities. Its core Media Platform sees use with telco providers, IPTV resellers and cable operators.
Having joined the company in 2007, Gerlický has held the position of CTO for the past four years, implementing several projects around Europe. Under his new leadership, Gerlický assured that nangu.TV would continue to be what he called “a leading influencer in today's television transformatio.”
The plan, he said, would pave the way for providing additional services that enable viewers to control their television experience. This will include further development of the nangu.TV platform, which provides delivery of IPTV and OTT services and an ever-increasing personalisation of the viewing experience. Gerlický will also focus on consolidation of what he called the company's “dominant position” in the Czech and Slovak markets as well as looking to build other markets, notably Switzerland, Luxembourg, Poland, France, Ukraine and Serbia.
