The EPIX premium entertainment network has selected SintecMedia’s IBMS system for managing the entire broadcast management and workflow solutions.
epixA joint venture of Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer and Lionsgate Entertainment, EPIX delivers the latest movie releases and classic film franchises, plus original programming including series, documentaries, comedy and music specials – available via pay-TV providers, on-demand, online and across devices.
IBMS is providing the business platform for end-to-end management of premium content, from content acquisition, programme financial management, advanced rights management and cross-platform content scheduling.
In this strategic project, EPIX will use specific modules within the IBMS Content platform, including Advanced Rights, Program Finance, On-Demand Scheduling, Linear Scheduling, Promotions and Media Management. In addition, EPIX will utilise the integrated workflow manager, and a number of complex interfaces to in-house and third-party content management platforms, including VOD and TV everywhere delivery systems.
