ProSiebenSat.1 teams up with A+E Networks

ProSiebenSat.1 has entered a partnership with A+E Networks enabling the German media group to screen the US broadcaster’s programmes on its channels.
The multi-year agreement of which financial details have not been disclosed covers factual content from US channels A+E, Lifetime and History Channel.
ProSiebenSat.1 will gain exclusive access, for example, to crime documentary series 60 Days In, reality series Behind Bars: Rookie Years as well as After the First 48, Cold Case Files and new episodes of Mountain Men.
The deal with A+E Networks follows a similar agreement signed with Scripps Networks Interactive in February 2017 enabling ProSiebenSat.1 to bring the US broadcaster’s channel brands and programmes to Germany.
