CE giant Sony has today announced three new TV series bringing 4K high dynamic range (HDR) picture quality and an array of smart features.
To be launched in spring the XF83 comes with the 4K HDR Processor X1 for high-end realistic picture, while the XF70 and XF75 offers 4K HDR quality in a wide variety of screen sizes.
The XF83, which boasts the 4K HDR Processor X1, is said to be the solution for those who look for high-quality image enclosed in a big screen size of either 60” or 70”. With advanced voice control and Android TV, the XF83 4K HDR TV allows instant access to movies, TV shows and apps, and can be used as a gaming device. TV viewers can enjoy shows and films on Google Play Movies & TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and others.
The XF70 brings the 4K HDR experience in four screen sizes (43”, 49”, 55” and 65”) to accommodate various living room set-ups. With 4K X-Reality PRO technology it upscales the detail and clarity of every image for improved overall picture quality. The XF70 has a built-in Internet browser and built to show in HDR TV shows and movies through popular streaming apps such as instant one-click access to Netflix and YouTube apps as well as best games on PlayStation4 and PlayStation4 Pro consoles. Similarly to the XF83, the XF70 series has a stand designed to keep cables from set-top boxes or Blu-ray players out of sight.
In addition, Sony has launched the XF75 4K HDR display which supports both HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma HDR formats. Equipped with the 4K X-Reality PRO technology, the XF75 upscales images closer to 4K quality as images are sharpened and refined in real time. With advanced voice control and Android TV, the XF75 4K HDR TV allows instant access to movies, TV shows and thousands of apps, and can be used as a gaming device. TV lovers can enjoy hit shows and timeless movies on Google Play Movies & TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and others.
