The US marketplace for film, television and digital media rights licensing, RightsTrade has signed an alliance with AssetMedia to develop its business in Spain.
pantalla tvFor now, the RightsTrade online platform will be represented by AssetMedia in a bid to create business with content owners, distributors, sales companies and content buyers in the country. From the start, the service will manage around 1,000 titles for cinema and TV within the Spanish market.
In the US, the marketplace already has over 10,000 registered professionals. Among its clients are some of the leading content companies in the world, such as Miramax, Beyond International and 9 Story Entertainment.
Through this operation, Spain’s content producers and distributors also have a new window to the international market, as RightsTrade makes it possible to sell content to over 4,000 audiovisual companies in 175 countries around the globe.
