Polish operator P4, trading under the brand Play, has launched a new TV service called Play Now. Under the subscription, it was also offer the Tidal music streaming service, making it the only operator to do so. The new service is aimed at new clients and those extending their contract, and will bring several dozen TV channels to smartphone, tablet, computer and TV screens through Google Chromecast. Watching TV does not reduce the data allowance and does not generate extra costs.

Customers can choose from two packages, called Mini and Basic. The Mini package for the subscription Formula S offers the channels History, BBC Lifestyle, MTV Music, Stars TV, VH1 Classic, The QYOU, Fokus TV and Polsat Viasat History HD. The Basic package for clients of Formula M and L includes every channel from the Mini package, as well as TNT, CNN, Nickleodeon HD and Paramout Channel.

The Mini package costs PLN 30 to PLN 65, depending on whether it is for one, two or three devices. The package Basic costs from PLN 45 - PLN 95 with Formula M, depending on the number of devices, and PLN 55 - PLN 125 with Formula L.

The operator has also brought out three thematic packages: Kids for PLN 10 a month ( Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Cbeebies, Da Vinci Learning, Polsat Jim Jam, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Duck TV); Extra for PLN 20 a month with films, series, documents and lifestyle programmes (AMC, Kino Polska, Kino Polska Muzyka, Polsat Food Network, Romance TV, AXN, H2, Lifetime, Motowizja, BBC HD, BBC Brit, BBC Earth, BBC World News, Comedy Central and Extreme Sports Channel); and the package Fun for PLN 5 a month for music fans (Eska TV, Hip Hop TV, Clubbing TV, VH1, Ginx eSports TV, MTV Polska, MTV Rocks, MTV Live HD, MTV Dance and MTV Hits).

Customers can also choose Internet with one of the two basic TV packages. An internet package with 30 GB or 50 GB with the Mini package costs from PLN 29.99 to PLN 59.99, depending on the number of devices (1-3). Unlimited internet with the package Basic costs from PLN 49.99 to PLN 89.99, depending on the number of devices (1-3)

Under the promotion, the first month is free. The service is available on smartphones and tablets with Android and iOS and internet browsers on computers on the dedicated website playnow.pl.

Play Now can also be viewed on TV or projector through Google Chromecast. It is available under the current promotion for an extra PLN 10 a month. Besides, clients of Play Now have access to two film hits on VoD every month. Each of the films will be available in the section Play Kino using the application and on playnow.pl for four weeks, or until reaching the limit for promotional films via VoD. Every second Thursday in the calendar month, play will invite viewers to a premiere; the first one is on 01 September.
