Bundesliga kicks off on MySports Empty
PostSubject: Bundesliga kicks off on MySports   Bundesliga kicks off on MySports EmptySat Jul 29, 2017 7:12 am

The new season of the 2. Bundesliga kicks off today. Thanks to the deal with Sky, customers of UPC and the 15 distribution partners will not miss a single Bundesliga goal on MySports. Following the integration of the new Sport app from Sky, which will be launched on the Swiss market before the end of this year, UPC will be able to offer its customers even more sports entertainment.

Today marks the return of Bundesliga fever. With MySports, football fans will not miss a single goal of the Bundesliga or 2. Bundesliga on Sky, because MySports is showing all Sky broadcasts of the Bundesliga on TV in Switzerland. Including today’s opening game, that is all 306 matches in the 2. Bundesliga and, from 18 August, 266 Bundesliga matches, including multi-game broadcasts, pre-match reports and analyses.

MySports can already be subscribed to now from UPC and the distribution partners. A day pass for the Bundesliga on Sky will be available from September and for the coming season on Swiss pay TV exclusively with the MySports Day Ticket. The MySports offer includes the complete Swiss ice hockey National League, games featuring the national teams, the Swedish and Russian hockey leagues, Formula E, beach volleyball and much more.

Even more live sport with the Sport app from Sky
During the course of this year, UPC and MySports distribution partners such as Quickline will be offering their customers even more sports entertainment. The companies will integrate the Sport app from Sky onto their digital TV platforms. Eric Tveter, CEO of UPC, says: “I am delighted that we are able to offer our customers access to further sporting highlights such as the Champions League, tennis, golf and Formula 1 with the Sport app from Sky. In combination with our exclusive ice hockey content, we are the only provider to offer such a wide variety of sports for our customers.” UPC has already had very good experiences with the integration of apps on its devices. “We see ourselves as a content aggregator. Providers such as Sky offer first-rate content in the areas of sports and entertainment. By integrating this content via apps we are one step closer to our vision of offering customers a first-rate and simple TV experience – at any time and on any device,” says Tveter.
