LG Electronics will relocate its European headquarter from London, UK to German city Frankfurt.
The new base in Frankfurt will also be the home of LG’s German branch currently located in Düsseldorf.
Frankfurt was selected as the new regional headquarter as Germany, besides a strong consumer market, offer major growth possibilities in the areas of digital signage, solar, lighting und automotive, according to LG.
Through its central location in Europe, Germany also provides excellent connections and an outstanding infrastructure enabling European employees to be closer to the markets they serve, adds the company.
The relocation process will take several months. LG plans to inaugurate its new Frankfurt base by the end of 2016.
