La Casa del Mar, DirecTV’s original Latin American series, will see its second season premiere across pay-TV, mobile and video-on-demand (VOD) platforms.
la casa del marThe new season will simultaneously air on OnDirecTV, the company’s network for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Caribbean. It will also be available live via streaming and on-demand through the DirecTV Play TV everywhere platform for connected and mobile devices.
Produced in collaboration with Argentina’s Cisne Films and StoryLab, La Casa del Mar stars Darío Grandinetti, Soledad Villamil, Juan Gil Navarro, Federico Olivera, Luis Luque and Delfina Chaves.
The series’ first season was the most viewed content of OnDirecTV’s series programming block when it aired last May, becoming the fifth most watched content of the channel that month.
The second season, consisting of 8x60’ episodes, was filmed between January and March in various locations in Argentina, including Buenos Aires and Necochea.
“We have a good story with intrigue and a great group of actors, which is why we believe the second season will captivate the Latin American audience,” said Willard Tressel, GM, OnDirecTV.
