The Polish public broadcaster TVP has entered into an agreement with UEFA that confirms the purchase of exclusive media rights to the most important football events in the period 2018-2022.
TVP won a tender for the rights that was announced by UEFA and undertaken by its subsidiary, the agency CAA Eleven.
Under the terms of the agreement, TVP will be the only broadcaster in Poland that will be able to show all Poland’s matches in the qualifiers for the 2020 European Championship, the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and two cycles of the newly created League of Nations 2019 and 2022.
In addition, TVP has secured exclusive rights to the next European Championships, to be held in 2020.
TVP already holds the rights to the 2018 and 2020 World Cup in Russia and Qatar respectively.
